Offshore Outsourcing in Asia only just about Low Employment Cost?

Is the real reason for offshore outsourcing just because of low costs and savings of up to 60%? Few patrons around the world might think that way but offshore inbound – outbound outsourcing has various factors to consider in choosing what destination would be the best, if not, close to perfect.

There are factors that are observed by foreign outsourcing companies . And many experts consider that this factor is the second best aspect to be considered in choosing the best destination for offshore outsourcing. The skills of Filipinos are said to be the most closely-aligned people to Americans in terms of way of life. Filipinos are hired by American companies due to their American-influenced culture, and are dubbed as the most Americanized nation in ASIA or in fact around the world since the Philippines was under the American rule in the time of the Spanish-American war decades ago. Filipinos can converse with Americans in the most natural way that is why they can carry out instructions and issue understanding in such a good quality manner.

Speaking of the Spanish-American war, on the other hand, Mexicans have been chosen by a transaction processing-company which is known for its expertise in health care and publishing global content, because it has a similar time zone with the other American states and the destination is very near to be visited for other company processes.

Other Asian countries like China, have a great advantage as well, though they are not as proficient with the English language and not too familiar with the western culture. Experts say China is the best destination for sending routine data entry work.  By this fact, they can type quicker because they don’t take time to read the English words they encode, simply because they don’t understand them!

Although this is good from a speech standpoint, quality is sometimes sacrificed.

To top it all, it can be inferred that it is also an important factor to have a close tie with the skills, culture and the people of the employing transnational company to be chosen as one of their offshore destinations and to be able to create a good communication and working relationship with them.
