  • Don’t take away the focus of your attention from your customer. This will allow you to respond correctly and impressively. Telesales is about having the humanistic approach to talk with your potential customer one-on-one so that you can easily gain his trust and confidence. Focus your telesales attention to the customer, and then you’ll see how interested that customer will be on you!
  • Don’t concentrate on the translation process while listening. If you do not understand what the customer is saying, learn to ask further questions to get his point across clearly. You must take charge of the sales conversation, and not the customer leading you nowhere but to rejection or turned-down response.
